Hello, my name is Chris, I’m a Senior UX Designer at AKQA. Originally from Berlin, Germany, I now call San Francisco my home.

I started my career as a graphic and motion designer in advertising and branding. Designing brand management portals, as part of my work for a leading global brand consultancy, led me to product design. Deepening my knowledge and passion for digital systems, I obtained two master's degrees in industrial and integrated design.

Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with highly creative international teams on designing digital experiences for some of the world's most iconic brands.

I enjoy analyzing complexity, identifying the right problems to solve, and creating experiences that are proactive, supportive, and delightful. My work includes conducting user research, mapping experience flows, crafting user interfaces, and developing interactive prototypes. I define patterns of interaction, layout, typography, form, color, and motion.
In my current role, I lead end-to-end UX projects, drive both strategic and creative workflows, and mentor junior designers.

In my free time, I enjoy motorcycling, staying active, and producing electronic music.
